CreateSA is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from South Australian based Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals for the Advisory Panel membership.
Purpose
The purpose of the Advisory Panel is to provide strategic and expert advice, support and feedback that will guide and strengthen CreateSA on best cultural practices within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander arts in South Australia. The Advisory Panel will advise on the implementation of the South Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Strategy and the delivery of the state cultural policy, A Place To Create.
Being a part of the inaugural Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Arts Advisory Panel at CreateSA for the last three years has been an amazing experience. The panel was made up of an artistically diverse group of First Nations arts leaders and this made for strong vision, direction and support for South Australia’s arts sector. I cherish the experience I gained sitting on this panel and it is something I highly recommend to anyone looking to join a passionate group of people who will ensure our arts sector remains strong, continues to spotlight the diversity and creativity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander arts across our state.
