The annual Ruby Awards celebrate the artists, creatives, organisations and community groups making a difference across South Australia's arts, cultural and creative industries.
As the only Australian state government-led annual awards program for the creative sector, the Ruby Awards honour the people, projects and organisations shaping our creative landscape.
This year, the awards have been refreshed to better reflect contemporary creative practice and the priorities of A Place to Create, with new categories recognising South Australian storytelling, access and inclusion, sustainability and new work.
Whether you're recognising your own achievements or nominating someone whose work has inspired you, the Ruby Awards provide an opportunity to celebrate the creativity, leadership and community impact that strengthen our state.
We particularly encourage nominations from First Nations artists and organisations, young creatives, regional communities and smaller organisations.
Nominations close at 5pm on Wednesday 12 August 2026.
