The music industry will head to Mount Gambier for creativity, connection and collaboration during the third Regional and Remote Music Summit in 2026, following on from the success of this year’s event in Byron Bay.
Centring the voices of remote artists and industry leaders, the Mount Gambier edition will continue the summit’s mission to champion regional music creativity, connection and collaboration.
Delivered by MusicSA and proudly supported by the Government of South Australia through the Music Development Office and the Australian Government through Music Australia, the summit will also highlight Mount Gambier’s significance as a regional hub for the creative arts and will provide a vibrant meeting place for artists, industry professional policymakers and community leaders.
During the summit, attendees can expect a rich program of panel discussions, workshops, keynote speakers and live music events – all designed to amplify regional talent.
By enlivening regional culture, showcasing Mount Gambier’s exciting position as a regional touring hub that supports local talent and connects artists with venues, this event supports CreateSA’s ongoing aims to build an arts culture that is accessible to all South Australians.
Program details, featured speakers, and artist showcases will be announced in 2026. For more information, visit MusicSA’s website.
