Almost $1.2 million in grants have been announced under the the Arts and Culture Grants Program.

A total of 56 applications across 9 categories were recommended for grants, covering a wide range of artistic disciplines.
Just some of the successful recipients include:
- $100,000 for a collaboration between Mimili Maku Arts and the Art Gallery of South Australia for a major presentation of the work of Wati Studio as part of Tarnanthi 2027
- $39,782 for Mid North Arts for Tiny, a child-led public art project that will transform a 400-metre section of Burra Creek into an interactive nature-based trail
- $15 000 for Tutti Arts to launch a virtual exhibition environment that enables digital, time-based and physical artworks to be presented through a 3D online gallery platform.
Of the applications supported:
- 12% of funded activity will be led by First Nations artists
- 34% will involve First Nations participants
- 32% will involve d/Deaf and disabled people
- 55% will involve culturally and linguistically diverse people
- 25% will involve regional and/or remote participants.
The funding boost will support activity expected to employ 358 artists, 126 arts workers and 184 others, with more than 38,000 employment hours anticipated. It will also contribute to total projected expenditure of more than $2.6 million.
