CreateSA is reviewing its grants process to ensure South Australia remains a place where excellent and diverse art and culture are made and shared, and where creativity is celebrated.

We want to ensure our grants programs align with the intent of the state government’s 10-year cultural policy, A Place to Create.

The review covers all CreateSA grant programs administered through the Music Development Office and Arts and Culture funding streams. It is looking at the entire grant lifecycle, from application and assessment to acquittal, and is considering the clarity of guidelines, digital processes and real-life experiences of applicants, recipients and assessors.

All current programs and contestable grants will continue as usual during the review.

Consultation runs from 26 November 2025 to 20 February 2026.
