Less than three weeks remain to enter the Healing Arts South Australia Artist Award – a unique opportunity for a South Australian artist to contribute to the state's celebration of creativity, health and wellbeing.
The award is seeking an original artwork inspired by one or more of the four Healing Arts South Australia themes: growing up safe and happy, mental health in a changing world, connection through culture, and ageing well.
Whether you’re a budding or experienced artist, the winner will receive $5,000 and see their work featured across campaign materials, helping represent Healing Arts South Australia throughout the lead-up to the state-wide program of events in May 2027.
Healing Arts South Australia is part of a global movement highlighting growing evidence that arts and creative participation can contribute positively to health outcomes, wellbeing and social connection. The Artist Award provides an opportunity to reflect these ideas through a uniquely South Australian creative response.
Entries close on 19 September 2026.
Visit the Healing Arts South Australia website for eligibility criteria and submission requirements.
