Sixty creative projects from across South Australia have been recommended for funding through the February 2026 round of the Arts and Culture Grants Program (ACGP), with more than $1 million to be awarded.

Across eight funding categories, the ACGP supports professional practising artists, arts workers and arts organisations to create new work, build skills, tour projects, and develop networks and markets. Activities recommended for funding in this round span literature, visual art, craft and design, and performing arts.

Funded activity will take place in metropolitan Adelaide as well as regional, interstate and international locations.

Applications were assessed by art form‑specific and multi‑art form peer assessment panels, made up of specialists across arts practice, arts management and cultural fields.

The February 2026 round continues to deliver strong diversity and inclusion outcomes, with funded projects including:

  • 17 per cent led by First Nations artists
  • 27 per cent involving First Nations participants
  • 32 per cent involving d/Deaf and disabled people
  • 45 per cent involving culturally and linguistically diverse participants
  • 32 per cent involving regional and/or remote participants

More than 33,000 employment hours are expected to be generated through this funding round, supporting employment for 335 artists, 152 arts workers and 61 other workers.
